  7. Other Work during 2009 • Reverse flow Task Force • Security of Supply Task Force to inform European Policy Development development in the light of January 2009 gas supply disturbance • Balancing ( benchmark in 2008, workshop in 2009)

Impact of Third Package • Third Package now a reality • Processes need to be “proved” • Need to trial the processes • Priority setting • Framework Guidelines • Network Codes ... it’s now time to create a new organisation with an efficient decision making process ... TSOs want to be involved in trial Framework Guidelines processes prior to leading trial Network Code development

Second Annual Work Programme 2010 • Establishing “pre-ENTSOG” • Stakeholder and TSO support initialisation in 2010 Need to continue work to • Deliver benefits to market (TYDS, transparency, balancing, interoperability, Tariff? ...) • Trial Third Package processes ( CAM ) Confirmation of 2010 Annual Work Programme later this year

Conclusions • GTE+ has been a workgroup, a proxy for ENTSOG • GTE+ has already delivering to the market • “pre-ENTSOG” will be created in 2010 and will • secure resource to enable the 2010 AWP • apply the envisaged Third Package processes as much as it can • have an efficient decision making process • In 2010 “pre-ENTSOG will • Participate in Trial Framework Guideline development ( CAM) • Lead associated Network Code development (CAM) • Lead other projects (eg: Transparency Platform, TYNDP, IT Roadmap ) • Support/commitment needed from • regulators • Commission • stakeholders • Formal and full ENTSOG will be created as soon as possible once the Acer is created
