5. Olivia devises by will to Alan property abutting the Russian River near Guerneville (an area that experiences frequent floods). If the property ever floods, then to Bridget.

6. Olivia to Alan until the property floods, then to Bridget.

7. Olivia conveys by deed to Alan for life, then to Olivia’s grandchildren who reach 21. Olivia has no grandchildren at the time.

8. Olivia devises by will to Alan for life, then to Olivia’s grandchildren who reach 21. Olivia has no grandchildren at the time.

9. Olivia by deed to Olivia’s children for life, and on the death of Olivia’s last surviving child, to Olivia’s surviving grandchildren.

10. O to A by deed, provided no telemarketing.

11. O conveys Blackacre to A for life as long as Blackacre is used for residential purposes, then to B and his heirs.

12. O conveys Blackacre to A and her heirs so long as Blackacre is used for residential purposes, then to B for his life.

13. O conveys Blackacre to A and her heirs, but if Blackacre is ever used for non-residential purposes, to B and his heirs.

14. O conveys Blackacre to A and her heirs so long as the Detroit Tigers remain in the American League, then to B and his heirs.

15. O conveys Blackacre to A and her heirs so long as Susan Taylor remains the Senior Vice President of Essence Magazine, then to B and his heirs.

16. O conveys Blackacre to A and her heirs so long as the Detroit Tigers remain in the American League. In a separate, subsequent conveyance, O conveys "all of my interest in Blackacre to B."

17. O conveys Blackacre to A for life, then to the child of A who first graduates from law school. Two months later O conveys to B “all of my interest in Blackacre." A is alive and has two children, ages 1 & 5; B is also alive.

18. O conveys Blackacre to A for life, then to B for five years, then, if B's first child graduates from law school, to B and her heirs. A & B are alive; B has one child - age 3.

19. O conveys Blackacre to A for 5 years, then to B for 5 years, [and so on through the alphabet], then to Z and his heirs. At the time of the conveyance, all 26 grantees are alive.

20. O conveys Blackacre to A and her heirs, but if Blackacre is ever used for commercial purposes, to B and her heirs. Two months later, B conveys to O "all of my interest in Blackacre."

21. O devises Blackacre "To my widow for life, and then to such of her children as shall have reached the age of 25 within 21 years of her death and their heirs." At O's death, O leaves a widow, A, who has two children, B & C, ages 21 and 23 respectively.

22. O conveys Blackacre to A so long as Blackacre is used as a farm, then to B for life. At the time of conveyance, A and B are alive.
