This initiative focuses on reducing disparities in access to supports for neurodevelopmental disorders, addressing affordability issues, and improving coordination for smoother transitions between services. Research on screening rates, age differences, and advising laws will inform recommendations for enhancing coordination and referral systems. Examination of existing specialty programs and collaborative opportunities will guide the development of effective transition services. Emphasis is placed on improving access to screening, diagnosis, and therapeutic services for children from less privileged backgrounds.
