  3. What is a Drum Module • A drum module is the brain of the electronic drum kit. It: • Stores all of the sampling sounds • Allows you to edit them, • Receives signals from the drum triggers • Sends sampling sounds to an external source (headphones of monitor)

  5. What to look for in a Drum Kit • The amount of trigger inputs • The sounds the module has to offer • The inbuilt metronome function • If just buying a module, make sure it will be compatible with your kit.
