PSC 4010: Chapter 6 Source of radiations (p. 6.8 – 6.14): Natural radiations (very small doses) • Space & atmosphere (altitude*) • Food (Potassium-39) • Food (Strontium-90: leukemia & bone cancer) • Building materials (Radon) • Tobacco (16 times Canadian Standards / Twice nuclear plant operators) • Humans
