District-Wide Staff Development • Aug 20th - HomeBase Training in Media Center - PreK Training @ Farmer’s Market 8:15 am-3:15 pm. • Aug. 21st - School Counselor Mtg @ Comtech - Principal Mtg @ Transportation 8 am - Principal Mtg with SIT Chair @ Board 1pm - Joy Hunt • Aug 22nd – Open House 3 pm – 6 pm - Diabetes Training 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm @ Osterneck Auditorium • Mrs. Tramel, Daytra Campbell, Tashenna Lowery and Ms. Dow - Reading 3D Train-the-Trainer Session @ Transportation Dept. • Shelia Deese, Christy Hammonds - Write to Learn Training @ IEA • Melissa Howell, Joy Hunt, and Catherine Deese • Sept 5th – TOY and POY Reception @ Farmer’s Market 6 pm • EC Mtg @ Comtech 12(Noon) – 3:30 pm • Teacher Evaluation Self-Assessments - TBA

  5. TA’s workday 7 ½ hours • Teacher will be responsible for contacting substitutes and providing classroom plans/activities for subs. • Two Emergency Lesson Plans must be on-hand in Front Office. – Submit to Ms. Daytra by Sept 6 • Substitutes can only work 29 hours per week.

  8. Concerns: - Development of performance pay plan - Developing Grade Points for Schools ( A B C D F) - 3rd Graders who do not pass reading proficient level to receive summer school and possible retention. Excellent Public Schools Act
