SBS Magnet and Infrastructure • Machined Magnet Steel – Delivered. - milestone April 2014 • Racetrack Coils – 1st coil to be tested mid-June, 2nd coil being wound - milestone April 2014 • Saddle Coil – Plan to use existing coil for Summer testing. • Magnet Assembly Hardware –Ordered - milestone September 2014 • Magnet Support Structure – Weldment procurement awarded, delivery in November - milestone July 2014 • Power Supply – Inspection at Danfysik June 26th, installation to be coordinated around Summer power outages - milestone September 2014 • Magnet commissioning in Testlab– milestone September 2014 • Beam line –Exit beam pipe drawings complete, in process of costing before beginning procurement. Vacuum chamber snout design in process. Preliminary design of correctors in process for costing – milestones Jan & Apr 2015 • Field Clamps – upstream and downstream clamp material defined – details of design to be analyzed before procuring- milestones April 2015

Exit Beam Pipe • Beam pipe layers – 1/8” S.S. press bent tube, ¼” 1018 Steel tube, 3/8” octagon shaped A36 half tubes – diameters from 4.62 I.D. to 11.08 I.D. , ~160” long • Upstream and downstream flanges as purchased items, upstream bellows as purchased items, downstream bellows to be fabricated • Assembly mechanism being defined – weld tabs for bolting or hose clamps
