  4. Order Entry Importing Data From Specimen Record in Softlab The collected D&T data from the specimen record in lab can now be displayed in the procedure D&T field in Softpath. This is for each specimen Setup-> Options->Specimen Registration-> Standard Settings(cont)

  5. Processing Use Block Defaults in Specimen Registration Setup->Options->Specimen Processing ->Universal Settings Source File Block defaults defined in the source setup file will be applied to a specimen for a case when defaulting blocks in Specimen Registration

  6. Processing Apply Source Defaults to All Blocks Setup-> Options-> Specimen Processing-> Universal Settings Blocks added manually and default blocks will have the default materials from the source file added to the case

  7. Processing Cancel Order The ability to cancel ordered or defaulted stains and tests from the order tests/stains window The stains displayed as canceled in the stains/test grid will not be used as default stains for the specimen in Fast Processing or Worklist

  8. Processing Specimen Processing Worklist Block Flags Block flags can now be selected on the Block Embedding Worklist When a block has been flagged for Decal, an asterisk will appear beside the block ID on the Embedded Blocks Log

  9. Processing Fast Processing Order Stains/Tests Display All ordered and completed Special Stains/Tests from the Order Stains/Slides/Tests window grids will display in the Stains field of the fast processing window. Note:Stains/Tests with a status of CANCELED will not display

  10. Processing Default Status to Done Processing will now automatically update the status of a stain from Ordered to Done when default stains from the source setup file are applied by use of system settings The function occurs in the following scenarios: When a user opens the case in OCP and answers “Yes” to “Do you need source default” When a user open the case in OCP and option “No questions about defaults in OCP” is marked When a user saves data in OCP and answers “Yes” to “Processing completed?” When a usere opens the case in the stain Worklist and answers “Yes” to “Add stains to all unstained slides” When a user opens the case in stain Worklist and the option “Automatically default stains to stain worklist” and “No questions about defaults in worklists” are marked

  11. ICD9 As A Required Field Results Entry Final ICD9 codes can be required prior to the completion of Sign Out Setup->Options->Utilities->Billing

  12. Results Entry Supplemental and Preliminary Reports with Images Images will be available on a Supplemental or Preliminary report when a report is created based on the previous supplemental or preliminary report. Options-> Miscellaneous-> Image Management

  13. Results Entry Revised Report Date and Time Capture The system will capture the date and time the modified diagnosis was created without changing the date and time of the original revised report

  14. Results Entry Text outside the section bookmarks can now be prevented from being modified when using Word 2003 or newer Prevent Modification of Text Outside of Sections Options-> Result Entry-> General sub-tab

  15. Results Entry Font formatting for Supplemental/Revised sections The font formatting for Supplemental and Revised sections can now be defined.

  17. Results Entry The contents of all preliminary sections can now be imported into the final report. Previously only Final, Gross, and IOC sections were available. Import All Preliminary Sections

  18. Results Entry Allow Only Last Signed Report As Template A new supplemental or revised report can be created only after the Final report has been signed out. Setup->Options->Result Entry->General sub-tab Option active Option inactive

  19. Results Entry The original sign out name/date/time can now be displayed with the original final diagnosis when a revised or supplemental report is created. Revised/Supplemental Reports The supplemental section settings define if the system will add the supplemental section automatically or add a new section in each supplemental report. Also the system can add a signature section under each section and define the position of the section placement The revised section settings define if the system will add a new revised section in each revised report as well as defining if a signature section will be added under each revised section. The revised section can also replace the final diagnosis section.

  20. Reports Pending StainWorksheet The pending stain/tests for a specimen can be displayed in the standard long or short format The short form displays stains/tests in a single group separated by a comma The long form displays each stain/test on a separate line

  21. Reports Special Stain Log When a Stain Panel is qualified to the report, the individual stains from a stain panel will be displayed instead of just the Stain Panel ID

  22. Additional Enhancements The Billing Report now provides the Source and Source Description to the list of variables that can be included on the billing report. Billing Options-> Utilities-> Billing cont.

  27. Additional Enhancements Query A new paramater QRY_GROSS_DBSRCH was added. The new param allows searching for gross text in either the database or in the text of the document. Set to N = Documents searched for the gross description Set to Y = Database will be searched for the gross description

  28. Additional Enhancements Query The option for Resulting Worksheet must be selected in Setup-> Options-> Query-> Results Page tab. NOTE: In the Personnel file, Can view all reports must be selected despite whether the resulting worksheet option is selected or cleared.

  34. Additional Enhancements PatAdmin CCO Report Type Mapping has been added to send proper data to CCO (Cancer Care Ontario). This table will allow the translation of Accession Sequence codes to Report Type Codes.

  35. Additional Enhancements Hosparams SKIP_BACKUP_COPY Provides the ability to turn off the backup copy creation of saved documents The default setting is N. When set to Y, the system does not create backup copies of saved document files. SKIP_PRINTED_FAX Prevents the system from sending the same signed report to the same fax number multiple times. When set to Y, system prevents the Scheduler from sending the same signed report.

  36. Additional Enhancements Hosparams CCO_ACK Defines the Accept Acknowledgement and Application Acknowledgement(sent during CCO transmission) seperated by a semicolon. Accept Acknowledgement code is sent in MSH[15]field and the Application Acknowledgement is sent in MSH[16] field. The codes defined for this parameter are: “AL” – Always “NE” – Never “ER” – Only on error “SU” – Only on success The default value is “NE;NE”

Additional Enhancements Hosparams COLD_Header, COLD_Footer Sign Out Date and Sign Out Time fields can now be included in the header or footer when a COLD interface is used. - COLD interface must be set up - PrintAdmin,PrintWorker & PrintExec installed - Printer for COLD interface defined in $PRINTERC
