  2. SEDIMENTARY STRUCTURES There are a range of structures in this railway cutting Cross - bedding is seen in several locations within the section

  3. SEDIMENTARY STRUCTURES • Dessication cracks are seen on the underside of at least one bedding plane

  4. SEDIMENTARY STRUCTURES • Within the section is one thick band of conglomerate

  5. SEDIMENTARY STRUCTURES • The top of one bedding plane also shows the development of possible ripple marks
