  1. How to Land a Job in Social Media For Beginners Social media is a form of online interaction and networking between people in which people create and share content or information, and companies create business profiles and pages. If you are reading this definition, you are aware that social media consists of several platforms, like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and many more. The platforms' main purpose is to enable users to create and share content, engage in conversations, and build a network of contacts that can help them in their professional and personal development. Users can create posts, video posts, images, and send direct messages to their contacts. Every post has the option to be either public or private, allowing the user to decide who can see their content. One of the most common misconceptions is that social media is a single job. In reality, there are many different disciplines that fall under the umbrella of social media.
