  1. “But let a man examine himself…” (1 Cor.11:28) “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? --- unless indeed you are disqualified.” (2 Cor.13:5) • Self-examination is about our identity; who we are in relation to Christ (2 Cor. 13:5; Phil. 1:21, 23). • There is a price to pay when we don’t examine ourselves (2 Cor.13:5; 1 Tim. 4:16; 1 Cor.9:27; 2 Tim.2:12).
