  2. Concept of Ops • Participate in the International Air Rally of Malta (26-30 Jun) • Outbound route via North Cape in Norway • Set World Record North Cape – Luqa • Land in every country we overfly • Fly safely • Extend flying experience • Have fun • Raise funds for charity

Outline Itinerary • Sat 19 Jun Wyton – Esbjerg, DK (5 legs, 5:25 fg hrs) • Sun 20 Jun Esbjerg – Bergen, p.m. in Bergen (1 leg, 2:45 fg hrs) • Mon 21 Jun Bergen – Tromsø (5 legs, 7:10 fg hrs) • Tues 22 Jun Day in Tromsø • Weds 23 Jun Tromsø – N Cape, p.m. visit NC (1 leg, 1:30 fg hrs) • Thurs 24 Jun North Cape – Kaunas, LT (6 legs, 9:15 fg hrs) • Fri 25 Jun Kaunas – Dubrovnik (8 legs, 8:35 fg hrs) • Sat 26 Jun Dubrovnik – Luqa (2 legs, 3:50 fg hrs) • 26-30 Jun Malta Rally • Weds 30 Jun Luqa – Locarno (2 legs, 6:05 fg hrs) • Thurs 1 Jul Locarno – Wyton (4 legs, 4:55 fg hrs) Estimate: • 5550nm round trip, ~50 flying hrs (chock-to-chock) • At least 12 nights away (Malta Rally 4 nights £600pp inc dinners) • RTB can be slower/longer if desired

  5. Aircraft and People ? • Can also consider other swap locations e.g. Tromso • IL could carry 3 with additional crew rotating in CG (tailwheel) • Need to consider aircraft payload/speed/range in route planning
