INVESTMENT ALLOWANCE (IA)(GOVERNMENT REGULATION NO. 62/2008) • 30% Corporate Income Tax deduction granted for 6 years (5% deduction p.a.) • Illustration: • Company X • - Investment realization : US$. 1billion • - IA p.a. : 5% x US$. 1 billion = US$. 50 million • - IA is constantly given for 6 years : 6 x US$. 50 million = US$. 300 million • 10 years losses carry forward • Accelerated depreciation - 16 -
