Goals of NAMI-UI • Personal liberation from mental illnesses • Improvement of the quality of life of all whose lives are affected by these diseases • Provide mental health support, education, and advocacy • Engage and educate campus communities about an issue that merits serious attention-- mental illness • ERASING STIGMA! There is no shame in mental illness or asking for help.
