How to find a faculty research mentor and funding. Talk to a peer mentor (student researcher) for advice. Our website features funding, advice, and special events. Sign up for our weekly e-news for info on jobs, events, announcements.

What is involved in undergrad research? • Asking a question, planning the project, completing it, and communicating the outcome. • Faculty research mentor. • Individually or as part of a group. • Outside of regular coursework. • One summer, one semester, several semesters or years. • Topic can be assigned by mentor, developed in collaboration, or more independently by the student.
