  2. It was raining when Bob took us around. Bob showed us a box car and we got to go in a caboose. JESSE

  3. In the box car it had lots of boxes . Bob told us about the model T ford . There was words on the wall. Bob was talking about the box car a lot .He told us a lot of things we can know. StephanieP.

  4. I got to go up high and I am in the gray sweater. Do you see me and the man in the orange coat? His name is Bob. Do you see him? He helped us get up in the caboose and I looked out the window. I had to get down. Kathryn.

  5. This is the dentist car in the first picture it’s a kitchen. They have 2 kitchens. The second picture has a bathroom. The third and fourth picture has a living room. The dentist ,his wife, and their children lived there. Robin

  6. This is the dentist’s car. Savannah and David are sitting in the waiting room. The other picture is the bowl where you spit in and the chair. The dentist was on a train because there were no dentist’s offices up north. People went to the dentist only when the train came to town. Brianna

  7. Bob told us not to play on the tracks. The wheels on the train are big. The light on the train shines in the dark. Melissa .

  8. We learned that this engine runs by steam. This is a car that carries liquids like milk, sugar, and chocolate. Daisy

  9. Some of us are playing with the toys. There are Thomas the tank engine toys and his friends. There is a model village and train close to the beginning of the museum. There are lots of tools they used. David

  10. We ate at the train station museum. We ate outside at picnic tables. There was a roof so we didn’t get wet. Reese

  11. After the train museum we went to the Rideau Canal Museum. It is in the middle of Smiths Falls.Eric

  12. Top left: This is a cave you can go through. There is a way to go out if you go around. There are some games too. Top right: This is a model of an Indian person. Bottom right: This is a pretend waterfall behind Brianna. Victoria

  13. This is what we are seeing out of the lookout of the Rideau canal museum. There is a lot of sets of stairs going up to the lookout. There is 6 sets of stairs going to the lookout. Stephanie M.

  14. This is Sarah, our guide. She is telling us about the tools used for building the locks and the Rideau canal. The Rideau canal is connected to the Ottawa River and the locks are special to us. Savannah

  19. This is a map of the Rideau Canal. It goes from Ottawa to Kingston. Jessica

  20. Me and Victoria are holding Goleo and looking where the water comes through the cracks in the gates. This is a humongous lock. Boats go through these locks. This is close to the lock master’s house.Men use the ladders to get down to fix things that aren’t working. David

  21. We are going across the bridge on top of a dam. These are crabs. They can open the doors in the locks so boats can go through. Nairn

  22. This is the old lock masters house. He had a window with a gun hole to shoot enemies. This is Zack. He is sitting on a bench near the big lock. Desarey

  23. We are ready to head home after visiting the two museums. We wore garbage bags to protect us from the rain. Mrs. Ireland
