  1. « Information Companions », students support • New season 2009-2010 ! • Here comes a new team whose members will come to give our usersa hand in their search for information ! • These « Information Companions » or « I.C. » are GEM students who have had the benefit of training given by librarians on the software and methodology of document research. Their role will be to help users to find out information resources during daily shifts in the library. • This project is possible thanks to the support of the Région Rhône-Alpes and their program “Helping you to succeed: autonomy and assistance”, which will allow: • - the Information Companions to test their information literacy skills, • - the public to expand their knowledge, to get informed and be ready to study, • and the Library to complete its offer of information literacy training and reinforce its role as a centre for animation and learning. • Students can consult the timetable on the library website, via Moodle - « Métier d’étudiant et compétences informationnelles » or by asking at the front desk of the library. • Feel free to pass this news on and ask us if you want to find out more!
