This study investigates the influence of different concentrations of sucrose (1%-3%) and ascorbate (50 mM) on the growth of wildtype and RAP2.4 knockout (KO) Arabidopsis plants. We analyze the effects on shoot and root development using a range of molecular markers, including actin and various oxidative stress response proteins. Results indicate a significant modulation of growth patterns and gene expression influenced by sugar and ascorbate treatments, highlighting the role of RAP2.4 in stress responses and plant development.
