In order to realize this vision, the AU will have to take up specific challenges related to integration: Weak links and bridges between the different resources of the continent Some missing links: • A shared vision of the future • Linking infrastructure (roads, air, railways, bridges, telecommunications) • Meeting and exchange opportunities (university exchanges, networks and associations, links with the diaspora…) • The ability to move easily • A common currency
