IR@UF: Phased Implementation • Planning Phase • IR Task Force (2004 - 2005) • Proof of Concept Implementation Phase • Pilot to select, collect, digitize, and archive materials from Agricultural and Life Sciences and University Administrative units (2005 - 2006) • Materials selected during this phase in active processing (2005 - eta 2011) • Outreach and Promotion for Sustainable Collecting Phase: • Self-submittal system for faculty to submit their research materials will release in Sept. 2009 • Enhancements for Interoperability and Optimal Operability Phase: • Adding authorities and ontologies to enrich access and use of materials in the IR@UF • Support for integration with various campus systems to host and archive scholarly digital objects in relation to GatorScholar, beginning 2009
