6Be strong and of good courage,

for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the

land which I swore to their fathers to give them.

Joshua 1:1-11 NKJV

slide8
7Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.

Joshua 1:1-11 NKJV

Dealing with fear:

1.Remind yourself that everything of eternal significance has already been taken care of…you can’t mess that up (John 10:28-29)

2.“Put off” fear of man and “Put on” fear of the Lord (Acts 9:31)

slide16
3.Be thankful…fear robs you of thankfulness

4.Remind yourself that you are His…remember your position…you’ve been rescued, adopted, forgiven and

redeemed (Romans 5-6)

Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that

you may prosper wherever you go.
