Project Description Predesign study of the 40,000 GSF building to be submitted to the Legislature in Fall 2014 to request construction funding for 2015-2017 Biennium Initial design project is for shell & core improvements estimated to be $16.3M TPC Continued design, including construction documents, at the University’s discretion in anticipation of construction start in Spring 2015 Future design for tenant improvements, depending on funding availability and University’s discretion Predesign and shell & core design is funded

Project Priorities Maximize value, flexibility, and assignable space Maximize ‘warm shell’ infrastructure that could be provided by the core and shell project within the available budget Minimize non-essential changes to overall building architecture Carry on the legacy of UWT’s historic campus fabric

Who is on the Selection Committee? What if my firm has never done a Predesign Report? What are the sustainability goals? Will this be a “UW building” for systems, assemblies, and design review process? Others?
