FY15 Key Achievements Partnered with DOE-HQ on the development and implementation of a Earned Value Implementation Handbook • Coordination of multiple site comments into single record comment allowing for easier disposition by DOE-HQ • Direct support of adjudicating comments of both the LOIs and Handbook • Support to 2 week implementation/testing review • Sponsored a Project Control Working Group workshop with DOE-HQ to ensure alignment of FY16 work plan

FY15 Key Achievements • New EFCOG Reorganization Realizedthrough Partnering • Formed Project Delivery Working Group • Established sub-groups (Project Management, Project Controls) • The PDWG 2016 Work Plan was reviewed and approved by the DOE Project Management Risk Committee • Supporting the upcoming revision to DOE Order 413-3B “Program and Project Management for the Acquisition of Capital Assets” • Provided comments through DOE Field Office Counterparts

FY 2016 Upcoming Focus Areas and Planned Achievements Earned Value Initiatives • Development of certification/surveillance standardized Data Call List • Verbatim conversion of the EVMSIH into an Excel format template to support reviews/surveillances • Illustration of the EVMSIH to include all compliance tests and document/data comparisons • Integrating (where practical) the PM and Contractor review/surveillance schedule for Peer Reviews • Draft Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) scheduling guide consistent with the GAO Schedule Assessment Guide for distribution to the EFCOG community for review and comment

  6. FY 2016 Upcoming Focus Areas and Planned Achievements Estimating Initiatives • Analysis of current EFCOG contractors estimating processes to the alignment with the GAO steps • Develop recommendation and framework, which could include best practices, for common understanding and implementation of the GAO-12 step process checklist for 413.3B • Identification of an estimating point-of-contact (POC) for each EFCOG participating site

FY 2016 Upcoming Focus Areas and Planned Achievements Project Management Initiatives • 2.1 Provide review comments and support comment disposition for pending revisions to DOE O 413.3B and associated guides • Focus will be on pending guide revisions • Establish PM SME ‘Rolodex’, Zippering Chart • Provide Support in areas of ‘Commissioning’ and a ‘Funding Guide for FPDs’
