Team building • CEO&GM speech often: key message , always talk, walk and talk, visit at work site. • Policy documents: CSR , Safety, Environment, company situation. • Enforcement and incentive program. • Work instruction for team in each section. • Coaching technique: pilot model, football team model. • Open heart (Listen>>Talk , Trust building) and challenge ( dare to do, no fear conditions).

Culture change • Company situation definition as crisis: what?, License to operate from social. • How to exit the crisis? : mine Image as cyanide-dust-noise, social acceptance and emotion. • What are the obstructs or barrier? Internal and external factors in term of company culture. • Which areas? : employee, contractor, community. • What culture are good and not good? • Good culture is maintain, not good should be eliminate, necessary culture need to built-up. • Which tools we use for culture driven?: Awards, third party, common kpi, OEE in TPM, ISO, supply chain. • Smooth change concept (Take off and landing). • Check points: lively meeting, say thanks for other helping, difference ideas but not broken, innovative ideas but no interruption, happy work place, co-operation team, help each others, dare to say the facts and data. • Company culture needs : Openness, boundless communication, Excellency , self trust, synergy team ( alignment company). • In each culture is specific to create. • We can change the community culture , if necessary. • Summary as short word culture: such as; HEALTH means Healthy, Environment, Alignment, Loyalty , Team of synergy , Happiness workplace.

Loyalty • Why employee not love company? • Love classification : get only (selfish), give only (mother model, caring), give and take ( balancing). • Check points: not participate with others, slow decision to co-operate, pay safe conditions, corruption cases, ignorance in company problems. • How to built-up company loyalty?: good company, merit , fairness , say facts, trust building, more safety, can help even through privately.

Lesson Learn from Land security • Land purchase without house removal (exit problem). • Difference prices in difference time and places (effect to time and cost). • allow old Land owner to cultivate in the same place (exit problem). • Strengthen land owner after land purchase , then block the land in new areas of mine development by snatching land and sell to us (effect to time, cost and mine planning). how to weaken them?

  13. Flexible plan • Land purchase complete before draw the shape of mine license boundary. • Can go to the other areas easily , if have some problems in that areas. • Risk analysis and always have back up plan. • Company accept the flexible process.

  14. Change image of Cyanide • What image of cyanide, we want to create? • Which points , NGO attack? (cyanide property and community health impacts) • What substance can be substituted? • If no, can change the perception? • Should be in scientific and can touch approach. • Who are the target groups of influencer? what are their belief and strategy? • Needs specific research to create trust , which easily to understand for government officer, community and NGO. • Emotional effect must be concern in this topic. • Why don’t invite NGO organization to improve this issue? Some NGO have concept like company.

Make the truth occurred • Misled believe disappear, when the truth occurred. • Misled believe is always use to attack the other (discredit strategy). • How to make the truth occurred?(credit strategy). • Knowledge and wisdom are the key of success. • Research is necessary to make the truth occurred in simple way.
