  1. The Adventures of Mr. Mackie By: Joseph, JR, and Leo

  2. At first, everything was fine in the world. There was water, food, and shelter. There wereanimals and humans. There was nitrogen, carbon, and water. Pg. 1

  3. Until, Dr. Frenchy hatched an idea. His brilliant idea was to take all the nitrogen fixation, and turn it into pizza. His last idea…….well, lets just say if you can hold your breath, you might survive for 3 minutes instead of 2. Pg. 2

  4. Dr. Frenchy finally made his final adjustments to his nitrogen fixation sucker 3000. He wanted all the nitrogen to make pizza, because he loved it and was tired of paying. Pg. 3

  5. Just 5 minutes later, Mr. Mackie got a call from The Nitrogen Department. So he parked his car, and headed for the park, where Dr. Frenchy was completing his plan. Pg. 4

  6. As he got there, Dr. Frenchy was making pizza. At first, Mr. Mackie was confused, but then he remembered that his agent said Dr. Frenchy’s plan involved pizza. Mr. Mackie gasped when he saw people starting die. He knew that without the nitrogen fixation, the environment would be poisonous. Pg. 5

  7. Mr. Mackie had to think of what do to. Then he remembered atmospheric nitrogen, nitrogen fixing bacteria, and decomposers. He needed some time to think. Pg. 6

  8. Then he got an idea. His idea was to use all other uses of nitrogen and use the little bit of nitrogen fixation the earth had left before it would die. Pg. 7

  9. But it was too late. Dr. Frenchy had sucked up all the nitrogen fixation and turned it into pizza. The war was over. Pg. 8

  10. Then Mr. Mackie had one more idea. He took a piece of pizza and gave it to a decomposer. Dr. Frenchy forgot about all the other parts of nitrogen, including the nitrogen fixing bacteria that broke down dead organisms releasing healthy nitrogen into the atmosphere. The pizza the decomposerate, gave the world nitrogen fixation…… Pg. 9

  11. ……because the pizza was made from nitrogen fixation and the decomposer released it. Allthe people started coming back to life because there was lightning, which fixed the nitrogen also. Dr. Frenchy was amazed. Then Mr. Mackie ran up to the tank and popped it, therefore letting all the nitrogen fixation back into the earth. Pg. 10

Glossary Nitrogen fixation-bacteria in the soil are able to convert atmospheric nitrogen into a useable form to plants and animals Nitrogen fixing Bacteria-bacteria that fixes atmospheric nitrogen gas into a more usable form such as ammonia(searched from Google) Atmospheric nitrogen- nitrogen located in atmosphere Decomposers-organisms that get energy by breaking down the dead remains of organisms
