  3. How much does it cost? • $45 for scout registration now, pays thru December 2011! ($25 for adults) includes Boy’s Life Magazine for the scouts • $50 - $100 depending on uniform options, book, etc. • Campouts, special events are extra, but affordable. • Scout can earn free campouts by selling POPCORN!

  4. How much time does it take? • Den meetings are twice per month for about an hour. • Pack meetings are the last Thursday of the month for about an hour. • Campouts, special events (Pinewood Derby, Raingutter Regatta, park cleanup, etc).

  5. What is my role? • All dens (4-8 boys) need a trained den leader and assistant den leader. • Parents, guardians (AKELA) are present. • Responsibility for meetings and events is shared by all. • We need committee members, event coordinators, pack and den leadership.

  6. What’s in it for the boys? • Learn about leadership • Respect for God, country, fellow man • Cub scout motto - “Do Your Best” • Physical Skills • Group skills • Personal independence • FUN!!!
