  1. THE DAILY NEWS www.dailynews.com THE WORLD’S FAVOURITE NEWSPAPER - Since 2010 Thomas Irving – Running for Roar! Editor? I am Thomas Irving, a First Year BioNatSci student, and I am running for the post of Roar! Editor in ECSU. Although I cannot claim to have much experience writing or editing newspapers, I would like to have a go at this, and will give it my best shot. I believe Roar! is an excellent institution, and brings a great deal of enjoyment to the student body. The crowds outside the post room on publishing day are indicative of this. If given the post of Roar! Editor I would set up a dedicated email address to allow people to send in their articles for Roar! and use these to extend the on-line edition beyond a double page. I would maintain the features that are old favorites (Sport, Peaking Duck, Editorials), as well as the recent idea of a Inside/Outside the Bubble news column, while trying to include articles from other members of the college whenever possible. Give me your vote, and I will give you entertainment.
