She is also a great manipulator and is very persuasive when it comes to something that she wants. • Anne Hathaway would be perfect for this role because she embodies a beautiful yet mysterious woman, and she has also been known to have the ability to be a very flirtatious actress in some of her previous films like playing Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises.

4. Bercilak Played by Russell Crowe • Bercilak is a sturdy, good natured, bearded, aristocratic, boisterous, powerful, brave, and generous ruler. He runs his castle with those distinctive qualities which can be seen when he openly invites Gawain, a stranger, into his home and smothers him with kind gestures. • Russell Crowe was chosen for this role because he is a very strong figure. He just gives off the vibe of a man who looks tough on the outside, but is actually a kind hearted person on the inside, which is exactly what the role of Bercilak needs. He has shown these attributes in some of his movies like The Gladiator and Les Miserables.
