The university came into existence in 1990. The University of Northern British Columbia is one of Terrace's top public institutions of higher learning. University of Northern British Columbia admission requirements: Undergraduate: Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Intermediate Certificate. The minimum average grade of 60% or higher in: English.
