Building Trust: Connecting Generations Through Social Integration in Helsinki
In Helsinki, we tackle two wicked problems: immigration and an ageing population. Our project focuses on creating connections and building trust between immigrants and the elderly. Through brainstorming sessions and interviews, we validated the need for social engagement. Meet Lucie, an immigrant dissatisfied with her job, and Liisa, a retired woman seeking social interaction. Together, they explore new horizons, fostering understanding through informal meetups. We aim to create opportunities for building trust, which opens doors to new possibilities for all. Join us in making a difference!
