  1. The temperature range at KSAC on Jan. 18 was almost twice as great as it was on Jan. 19, 2012. Two proposed explanations: differences in cloud cover, and differences in wind speed or direction. We can refer to observations of cloud cover and wind direction on a meteogram to test these proposed explanations.Based on observations, what can we conclude? They prove that the proposed explanations are right. They support the explanations very strongly. They support the explanations but it might be just a coincidence. They don’t tell us anything useful about the proposed explanations.
