  2. BEGINNING POINTS • Age & treachery will always defeat youth & zeal. Satan is an ancient & extremely treacherous foe. • Matthew 10:16 – Divine wisdom, Christlike innocence. • Lack of discernment leaves one vulnerable to attack.

There are no shortcuts to successful warfare. • Before your increased knowledge & religious experience make you OVERLY-CONFIDENT, remember some who have fallen before you: • ADAM – Paradise • DAVID – A man after God’s heart • SOLOMON – Gazed upon the glory of God yet fell • LUCIFER – A lead praise leader in Heaven, kicked out

  4. AN IGNORANT CHRISTIAN IN A SPIRITUAL WARFARE WILL SPIRITUAL WOUNDS • ACTS 19:11-16

  5. THE MIND The seat of reflective consciousness, comprising the faculties of perception and understanding, and those of feeling, judging and determining. The faculty of knowing the seat of understanding. An idea, notion, intent.

  6. EPHESIANS 4:23 • And be renewed in the spirit of your mind • The uncrucified thought life is the beachhead of satanic assault in our lives. • Renewal of mind will definitely divert the enemies plan of attack.

  7. SATAN’S DOMAIN • He hangs out in the darkness • Wherever there is spiritual darkness is where the devil will hang out!!!!

  8. MORAL DARKNESS • Spiritual darkness is not simply the absence of light. It is the absence of God who is light.

  9. PREPARING FOR SPIRITUAL WARFARE The forces of evil and the forces of good fighting for your attention

  10. INVOLUNTARY BATTLE • Satan initiates the battle

  11. I PETER 1:13 • Discern what areas are open and vulnerable to Satanic attack.

  12. DESTRUCTIVE SELF-DEFENCE • As the Holy Spirit shows us areas that are vulnerable and needs repentance, overcome the instinct to defend yourself. • Terminate the little lawyer who whispers, “my client is not so bad”. Submit self-preservation to God!

  13. COLOSSIANS 1:13 • If we have been born of light we are not trapped in darkness. • Thus our sin tolerance level should decrease. • There is a Holy radiance surrounding a true Spirit Filled Christian. • When you harbor sin, Satan has legal access because darkness is his domain.

  14. The devil can traffic any area of darkness; even darkness that still exist in a Christians heart

  15. Peter’s denial was Satan’s seduction of a dark area in Peter’s heart. How did this take place? LUKE 22:31-32

  17. VICTORY BEGINS WITH THE NAME OF JESUS ON YOUR LIPS BUT IT WILL NOT BE CONSUMATED UNTIL THE NATURE OF JESUS IS IN YOUR HEART JESUS
