  1. Clicking on the link for the .tns file gives you will get the following screen: Select “Save File” and click OK.

  2. Windows will automatically put the downloaded files into a folder on your hard drive called “Downloads,” shown here in the Windows Explorer window.

  3. Depending on the Operating System you have, Windows might show the downloads down on the status bar like this! If this is the case, click on the down arrow on this and select “Show in Folder.”

  4. If you clicked the “Show In Folder,” or double-clicked on the Downloads file folder on the 2nd slide (depending on which way your system handles the downloads) you will see the .tns file and you can then drag it to a folder on the left side of the screen. A good place to drag it is to the Desktop folder, as shown.

  5. If you close all the windows and find the file on your Desktop, you will double-click the file and it will open in the Inspire software and the screen should look like this: Make sure the Documents tab is selected. Click on the File tab and make sure “Desktop” is in the Look in: box below. (This shows your hard drive files.) Drag this down! Down here it shows your calculator (if it is plugged in to the computer). Drag the document from the top window to the bottom one.
