  10. Sexism in Advertising Contd. • Women in advertisements often have emphasis on their butts, breasts, or waists • Women are shown in cliché advertisements, such as diet products, cleaning products, and medicinal ads • Women often shown in uncomfortable, sexual positions for advertising uses
