  3. Updating the website is easy! • Every chapter is able to change their website’s look and feel (choose from 3 custom designs) and update text and pictures. • Add pages and change content easily. • No web design or computer skill needed!

What is the GIN System? • Secure, web-based member portal used by chapters and alumnae across the country to simplify chapter communication and organization • Each member has her own username and password and logs into the chapter’s GIN System through the chapter’s website • Chapter information is online and always available in one central place. • Simplifies communication with Sisters, New Members, Alumnae, and National Headquarters • Never lose another signup sheet, file, or phone list!

Using the Files Section Feature • Post any files at all • Unlimited storage space and folders to keep organized • Examples: • T-Shirt Artwork for every t-shirt order • Minutes of every chapter meeting • Constitution and By-laws • Chapter Budgets • Scholarship Applications • Applications to join other organizations on campus • Officer Reports to ease officer transitions

Using the GIN System Questions Feature • Ask any question/poll that you wish • Answers are automatically tallied for chapter officers and are exportable to Excel • Examples: • “What size t-shirt would you like to order for formal?” • “We need 10 people to participate in Beta Theta Pi’s Philanthropy. Please sign up if you’re interested, and remember, this question will lock out after 10 sisters sign up.” • “Vote for your favorite social themes for next semester.” • “Sign up for a bus for formal. There is a question posted for each of our 3 buses. Each bus question locks out after the first 20 people book their spot, so signup quickly! “ • “Please give us your suggestions for making study hall better. This question is anonymous.”

What Do I Do Now? • Visit www.alphaxideltagin.com right now! • Sign up for a convenient online training session scheduled for the week of June 15th • Watch a short video introduction • The video is a basic introduction about how to use the members- only area of your website (called “the GIN System”). On the training call, you will learn how to edit your website and post information for your chapter members. • Get excited for your new website and online chapter tools!
