Repetition • The reuse of the same words, or nearly identical terms, repeatedly for emphasis, in order to emphasize their importance, and convince the audience of their salience.
Restatement • Rephrasing an idea in different words, in order to more fully explain the concept, and increase its importance to listeners.
Analogy • a comparison between two different things in order to highlight some point of similarity. • Example: I feel like a fish out of water. • Meaning: I am not comfortable in my surroundings.
