Current Status • The operation started in 2006 (expires in 2016) • no changes in CP/CPS (ver.4.2) since the last F2F meeting. • issued (valid) certificates with CP/CPS 4.* • 11 universities/institutes • #user certificates = 93 • #host certificates = 294 • LRA operation • #sites with the LRA operator(s) = 11 • 9 computing centers (universities), IMS, NII Kento Aida, National Institute of Informatics

Grid Pack • grid pack • a package of local user accounts in computer centers and a grid user certificate • A user can apply the accounts and the certificate by a single application form. • grid-mapfiles are also configured in computer centers. • accounts/certificate renewals • Most user accounts in computer centers are renewed in Mar – April. • A validity period of a grid certificate is one year. • Timings for both renewals are not same, but users prefer to renew them at the same time… Kento Aida, National Institute of Informatics
