  1. Senior Meeting May 10, 2019

  2. Caps and Gowns • If you have not ordered, email Mrs. Rucker at Amy_Rucker@catawbaschools.net. • Cost for cap, gown, tassel and diploma is $65. Tassel and diploma only are $26. • Jostens will be back on campus Wednesday May 14th during all 4 lunches. • You may use a gown, cap from previous graduations as long as it is the correct color and in good condition.

  3. Financial Debt • All financial obligations must be paid in full to participate in prom or graduation ceremonies • Athletes and NJROTC, Band and Chorus be aware that uniforms and equipment go into this total • If you are not sure if you have a debt, email Mrs. Rucker at Amy_Rucker@catawbaschools.net.

  4. Senior Awards Day May 24 · SSHS Gym · 8:00am Awards Ceremony - Senior Class Photo - Yearbook Signing - Steak Lunch - Elementary School Parades • Gown and Academic regalia will be worn • CAPS WILL NOT BE WORN • Senior parents are invited to attend

  5. Graduation Practice June 11 · CVCC · 3:30p - 5:30pm • ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN GRADUATION • Be at CVCC by 3:15pm • You will receive tickets at the end of practice • All debt must be paid before receiving tickets • DO NOT BRING CAP OR GOWN

  6. Graduation Commencement Ceremony June 14 · CVCC · 7:00pm • Graduates need to be at CVCC by 6:15pm • Line up in the back of the building with your homeroom • Be dressed in appropriate attire • Doors open at 6:00pm for parents and guests • If you need handicapped seating, complete the form.

  7. Attire for Graduates No tennis shoes or flip-flops will be allowed Gentlemen • Black or grey slacks • White shirt • Necktie or bowtie • Black dress shoes Ladies • Dresses or skirts • Dark dress shoes (heels or flats)

  8. Odds and Ends • Academic Regalia from SSHS only • Honor Graduates • 3.95 weighted gpa = cum laude (white stole) • 4.25 weighted gpa = magna cum laude (silver stole) • 4.40 weighted gpa = suma cum laude (gold stole) • No cap decorations • Graduation tickets seven (7) per graduate • Conduct at graduation • Caution against small children at graduation • No entry into the arena after 7:00pm
