TestNav 8 SPRING 2017 NW SOLS • The following slides will walk you through the process of accessing practice items and describes the different tools available in TestNav8. • Familiarize yourself with this process and the new features of TestNav8. • Set aside time to show your students how to use these tools.

  2. Sign Into a Student Computer Username and Password are all lowercase • Username: sol • Password:solsol

  3. If you see this screen, choose Virginia.

  4. Choose your Subject Area and SOL Test

  5. This table shows the online tools currently available in TestNav8. Not every tool is available on every test. Teachers should be familiar with these tools prior to using the practice item sets with students.

  6. Please refer to the “intro_testnav8” document for a detailed description for each type of TEI item.
