  3. Completed Construction Projects District Wide – Monument Signs Measure E 2008 • District Wide Monument Signs. • Locations: • LAC-Clark/Conant • PCC-20th/Walnut Ave. LAC Monument Sign LAC Bldg. Designator PCC Monument Sign

  4. Completed Construction Projects LAC South Walkway Extension Measure E 2008 • Project complete • Palm trees to be replaced August 2011 • Continues Master Plan pedestrian corridor

  5. Completed Construction Projects LAC Infrastructure Improvement Project and District Wide Energy Efficiency Project Measure E 2008 • Total annual estimated savings of 1.5 mil. Kwh • Project started Fall 2009; currently hydro seeding all affected areas(All phases) • Majority of existing building HVAC systems to be upgraded and connected to the Central Plant • Buildings B,C,D,E,G, & H are connected • Exterior lighting and controls upgrades • All parking lots north of Lew Davis are on new system • New Reclaimed Water tie-ins to irrigation connected • New gas lines installed for Buildings B, C, D, E, G, H, J, M, N, and P • New domestic lines installed for Buildings B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I Trailers, J, K,L, M, N, P • Construction completed Summer 2011

  6. Completed Construction Projects LAC W Trailers Demo - Measure E 2008 • Project addresses storm run off issues with bio swales • Site converted to a parking lot • Project completed Summer 2011

  7. Completed Construction Projects PCC Tech 1 (Sheet Metal) - Measure E 2008 • Construction started Summer 2011 • Equipment and utilities installed • Projected completed before start of Fall semester 2011

  8. Current Construction Projects LAC Building A – Student Services Retrofit Measure E 2008 • New home for A&R, Counseling, Health Services, Cashier, Transfer Center • Project currently in structural upgrade • End of construction anticipated Summer 2012

Current Construction Projects LAC Building I - Measure E 2008 • Adds additional 4,000 square feet to existing building • Architecture to match LAC Mediterranean Theme • Work on framing and utilities underway • End of Construction anticipated Fall 2011 • Move in planned for late January or early Feburary

  10. Current Construction Projects LAC Master Landscape - Measure E 2008 • Currently in Design Phase(Finalizing design) • Plans to be submitted to DSA in August • Quad areas North and South of Bldg. A will bid Fall 2011 • Remaining areas designed at 25% • Scope includes new hardscape/landscape and pedestrian pathways

  11. Current Construction Projects PCC MDAB (Multi-Disciplinary Academic Building) Measure E 2008 • MDAB building remodel project • Phase 1 of 2 currently under construction • Project currently in demolition and structural reinforcement • Phase 1 Project to be completed Summer 2012

Current Construction Projects Stadium Parking Lot Lights and Stadium Lighting Measure E 2008 • Stadium parking lot lights • Construction commenced 9/12 • Work will start in South East portion of parking lot • Install energy efficient lights with controls capabilities • Stadium lighting retrofit • Awaiting final DSA approval

Upcoming Construction Projects PCC Building CC Retrofit - Measure E 2008 • Houses the Fitness Center, Gymnasium, Weight Room, and Faculty and Staff Offices • Swing space located on PCC Campus (Bldg. GG) • Approved by DSA on 1/27/11. Currently in bid process • To be completed concurrently with MDAB project phase 1 • Anticipated end of construction Fall 2012

Upcoming Construction Projects Will house Math and Culinary Arts instructional program as well as Reprographics Design Build delivery method Requesting Qualifications (RFQ) – Due 8/3 Shortlisted and interviewed 10 respondents (9/7-9/9) Select 3 and request for proposals Anticipated start of construction 2013 LAC Math Technology Building – Measure E 2008

Upcoming Construction Projects PCC Building GG - Measure E 2008 • Design Build delivery method • Request for Qualifications (RFQ) • Start in September and due late October • Building to house Health Services, EOPS, DSPS, Financial Aid, Cashier, A&R, and Counseling • Estimated start of construction December 2013

  16. Upcoming Construction Projects LAC Building C Retrofit - Measure E 2008 • Hired Architect to do design work • Currently in schematic phase • Work includes modernization of structure, classrooms spaces, and office areas
