  3. TRAMA Il professor Fuller e il suo assistente Joseph fanno ricerca sulle piante per contribuire alla lotta contro la fame nel mondo. Un giorno nel loro campo sperimentale spunta una misteriosa piantina di mais blu. Toccando il vegetale, Joseph viene pervaso da una strana forza e da nuove conoscenze. Egli conduce il professore e Andrea, una sua amica, ai ruderi di una città sotterranea dove anticamente le piante blu sono state sviluppate. - segue →

Trovano infine il villaggio che stavano cercando e Joseph supera la prova che gli viene imposta dagli indigeni. Di conseguenza potrà donare al mondo la meravigliosa pianta.
