  2. Texas Chainsaw 3D Texas Chainsaw is a gory horror film that was released in 2013. It is set around a city girl Named heather who moves to Texas after finding out her dead grandmother has left her a house for her to live in. Upon arrival she receives a letter which explains her cousin lives in a blocked off cell in the basement who is the notorious “leather Face” who killed people with a chainsaw in the 80s. All hell breaks loose when she discovers who he is and accidently release him onto the public once again. The poster has a typical dark and eerie theme to it like most horror posters. The person on the front is Leather face as he is the feature of the whole film. The chainsaw looks like it is coming out of the poster which is due to its “3D” status.

  3. Saw Saw is the first part to a 7 part series. It is based around the jigsaw killer who puts people who he believes takes their life for granted. He places two men into an abandoned bathroom where they don’t know where they are and gives them 6 hours to escape by sawing through their leg. Although this film is not scary it is still in the horror category because it is very gruesome and gory. The poster is very different compared to most horrors due to the fact it is not a very dark themed poster. Above all of this it does have a dark title to the film with it being black. The poster also has a severed arm and foot due to the theme of the series.

  4. The Purge The year is 2022 as crime rate in America is at an all time low. But because of this the government release an annual Purge which allow the public to release their anger on the ones that they hate for 12 hours. When a person who is getting chased to be killed by a group of people gets let into a family home the group start to break their way into the house, killing everybody in their path. Like most horror posters, it has a very dark and eerie theme. It has a picture of the polite intruder as the main photo as the mask he wears makes the film look appealing.
