Multi Platform Campaign – Frito Lays ‘Do us a flavor & win $1 Million • A campaign which allowed the people to create their own choice of flavors • Winners get $1 Million and runners up get $50,000 each • Actress Eva Longoria and Chef Michael Symon were panelists • Mediums used: • Facebook Voting via likes and comments • Twitter Hashtags to vote • SMS voting • Achievements: • Facebook changes LIKE button to “I’d eat that” for this campaign • More than 3.7Million submissions received • Hit in over 14 countries • Shortcomings: • Tonnes of trolls and memes generated over not-so-palatable flavors • Improvements: • Testimonial Marketing could have been used • Regional sub-events in line with the main event could have generated regional publicity also
