M 32 C Design Features • Nodular cast-iron engine block with integral galleries for lubricating oil and charge air • Simplified parts spectrum by using single-pipe exhaust gas duct • Pulse charging system, available as an option for all in-line engines • High efficiency turbocharger • Engine control terminal with analog instrumentation • Cooling water system with simple plug-in connections • Segmented camshaft design • Compact cylinder head design • Cylinder liner only cooled outside the block • Connecting rod, split-off design • Compact follower module for lower valve drives and injection pump drives with cam follower • Emission reduction technology • Fuels – #2 diesel, MDO, HFO, or crude oil
