  1. Our A.E.D. 2.0 By: Nick P., David B., and Federico.

  2. Our first A.E.D. • Our first model of our A.E.D was more like the normal A.E.D • It was box-shaped • A pouch on the top • 2 electrodes • And a touch screen that you could press, more like this one 

  3. The Process • The actual experimentation didn’t go so bad • Until our instructor actually tried it. • He wasn’t using common sense • So then again we had to change the design

  4. The New Design Sooo we were all thinking and we came up with a new design for the A.E.D. (Nick’s Idea). We decided to go with this one. I think its way better.

  5. How It Works How it works is that you take off the patients shirt. Then you slide the wedged side in between the right arm and the body, The electrode is built into the A.E.D. The A.E.D. also slides to accommodate anyone. As you can see in the picture below.

  7. Scissors are placed here to cut the shirt of the patient if you couldn’t otherwise It Slides to accommodate the Patient Electrodes are placed on these to spots to let electricity pass through the patient

  8. The rest of the Process After you get it on you press the analyze button and then you wait for the Screen to turn to shock. After that it’ll tell you if its ok or if you need to try it again.
