  1. Visibility for Vaccines presents Scenarios in ViVa A series of lessons designed to lead you through the stock visualizations on the ViVa Platform.

  2. Scenarios in ViVa: What’s ahead? There are three (3) multimedia slideshows in this series. They are designed to support scenario-based training on the Visibility for Vaccines Platform. We recommend that these presentation resources be shown or consulted in the order in which they appear. Background Scenario 1 Normal Stock Situation A scenario is a story in which learners experience work-based realities, consequences or outcomes of an action. These slides provide a general context and introduce protagonists and their roles. How does a normal stock situation appear? What are the graphical elements seen in ViVa? How is the visualization interpreted? Scenario 2 Scenario 3 Stocking Out Situation Overstocking Situation How does a stocking out situation appear? What are the graphical elements seen in ViVa? How is the visualization interpreted? How does an overstocking situation appear? What are the graphical elements seen in ViVa? How is the visualization interpreted?

  3. ViVa COUNTRY VACCINE LOGISTICS Meet The Team Cold Store Manager Cold Chain Officer EPI Manager Immunization Specialist National Vaccine Store National Vaccine Store UNICEF Ministry of Health

  4. ViVa Country: Platform User Ministry of Health The EPI Manager receives monthly email notifications of the status of vaccine stock levels. He can access the platform at any time with his credentials.

  5. ViVa Country: Platform User National Vaccine Store The Cold Chain Officer inputs stock levels for each vaccine in ViVa on a regular basis. This data is pulled from the Country’s Stock Management System. The Cold Chain Officer reports to the EPI Manager.

  6. ViVa Country UNICEF Country Office The Immunization Specialist operates out of the UNICEF Country Office. If there is a need to change the status of vaccine deliveries, the National EPI Manager makes the official request via the Country Office.
