GETTING STARTED

Welcome to your MyMathLab supported class! To get started, ensure you have your Trigonometry textbook by Lial/Hornsby/Schneider from the bookstore and your course ID, which will be provided during orientation. Obtain your Student Access Code with your starter kit. Use your username (the first part of your IVC email) and your student number (as your password) to log in. Follow the steps outlined at MyMathLab.com to get set up, including registration, entering your access code, and installing necessary plug-ins. For any assistance, feel free to ask!

INFORMATION YOU NEED(Page 1 of 2) • Your book: Lial/Hornsby/Schneider Trigonometry and MyMathLab student starter kit available in the bookstore. • Your Course ID: erbas-white?????—I will give you that on the day of your orientation • Student Access Code: You bought that with your starter kit (long and has a lot of letters)

  3. INFORMATION YOU NEED(Page 2 of 2) • Username: First part of your IVC e-mail address (if you do not know, ask me!) • Password: Your student number (if you do not know, ask me! It is a 6-digit number) • To see how your class works, go to: http://MyMathLab.com/takealook.html • To see if you can do it at your house, go to: http://ivc.edu/academics/math_cis_eng/math/technical.aspx • If you do not have the equipment, you can do this class at our library (free) or at B117 (our Tutorial Lab by signing up with Math 280-one unit)

  5. Step 1:Go to: http://www.mymathlab.com/student/gettingstarted.html Step 2: Click on: Registering for Your MyMathLab Course > At the bottom of that page. Step 3: Click on Choose textbook. STEPS TO FOLLOW (Page 1 of 2)

  6. STEPS TO FOLLOW (Page 2 of 2) Step 4: Scroll to Lial Trigonometry and press Go. Step 5: Now enter your student access code that you bought and follow the directions. Step 6: Now install your plug-ins at your personal computer if you are planning to do this at home. Step 7: Go to CourseCompass.com to sign in your class.
