  3. Born in 1819. Succeeded to the throne in 1837 after the death of her uncle William IV. 1840: married her cousin Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. 1851: Great Exhibition 1857: Albert granted the title of Prince Consort by Parliament.
