Educational Psychology (?) • Is the study of learner,learning, and teaching • Principal focus is : the process by which information, skill, values, and application of principles of psychology in to the practice of intruction. • Educational Psychology : characteristics of learner, principles of learning and intruction, and how to apply of principles of psychology in education

  5. The succesful occumplishment of the tasks of teaching • Lesson presentation • Class management • Motivators • Assesment • Grouping • Interaction • Communication • That makes for intruction effectiveness

  6. Teacher’s study educational psychology helps them indestand : • How people learn • The needs students • The problemns students • Why students behave • How to motivate them • How to improve of academic achievement

How do you keep issues and new theory? • Talk with other teachers • Talk with other educations • Read profesional megazines • Read profesional journals • Read profesional books • Takes in-service training courses • Takes graduate classes • Takes advatage of libraries • Takes other resources • Jointly opperated by school in one or more districts

  8. Why is Research Educational Psychology Important? • To examine abvious as well as less than abvious questions using objective methods to test idea about the factors that contribute to learning • The products of this research are principles, laws, and theories

  9. Principles explain relationship between factors • Laws are simply principles that have been thorughly tested and found to apply in a wide variety of situations. • Theories are sets of related principles and laws that explain broad aspect of learningbehavior, or other areas of interest

Pandangan Islam • Surat At Tin ayat 4 “Manusia diciptakan dengan sebaik-baik kejadian” • Surat An Nahl ayat 12 dan Dia menundukkan malam dan siang, matahari dan bulan untukmu. dan bintang-bintang itu ditundukkan (untukmu) dengan perintah-Nya. Sesungguhnya pada yang demikian itu benar-benar ada tanda-tanda (kekuasaan Allah) bagi kaum yang memahami (Nya), • Surat Al Fajr ayat 27 – 28 Hai jiwa yang tenang. Kembalilah kepada Tuhanmu dengan hati yang puas lagi diridhai-Nya.
