Current Situation • Fronter introduced 2007 • Gained ICT mark in 2009 • Current focus = pupils as leaders of fronter • Average 80% hit rate per month (2011) 55 Staff and 950 unique users per month
Where did we start? All Wrong! (just started by uploading resources – what's the point?) Lack of engagement – both sides Complicated system Focused on the wrong areas Time to rethink!

A digital native! I cant read yet or write but I know how to use the ipad! “But why cant I play on the ipad Mummy?!” “But why isn't it on now? I don’t understand” I want it now! ‘Any time any where’ generation.
Future Occupations New jobs appearing – “Identity manager“ and “virtual builder” Google -Looking for “Googleness” -Value talent and intelligence, group spirit and diversity, creativity and idealism -Googlers range from former neurosurgeons and puzzle champions to alligator wrestlers and Lego maniacs -Application = “Tell us what makes you unique”
Focus – Teaching and Learning What do we want our pupils to be able to do? And why? If I had an online area for my pupils - what would it look like? ? How can this support teaching and learning - in my clasroom?
